Quick summary, plain language
If you check the SMS consent box on our form, we will text you about your solar inquiry. Roughly 2 to 6 messages per active engagement. Reply STOP anytime to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for support. Message and data rates may apply through your carrier. We do not share your mobile number or SMS opt-in information with anyone, ever.
1. Program name and operator
The SMS program described here is operated by Valley Solar Pros, a trade name of Simple Tree Digital LLC, 159 N Effie St, Fresno, CA 93701. The program is referred to in messages and on this page as "Valley Solar Pros."
2. Description of the program
The Valley Solar Pros SMS program is a conversational and transactional messaging program. When you opt in, we may send text messages directly related to your solar inquiry, including:
- Appointment confirmations and reminders for your free assessment call
- Notifications that your custom solar proposal is ready to review
- Scheduling questions when our representative needs a quick answer
- Follow-up after a missed call
- Replies to questions you initiate by text
- Status updates on an active installation if you proceed to that stage
We do not use SMS for promotional blasts, third-party offers, or marketing unrelated to your specific solar inquiry.
3. How to opt in
SMS opt-in is collected only through one of the following methods:
- Checking the clearly labeled SMS consent box on our online assessment form at valleysolarpros.com (the box is never pre-checked)
- Verbally agreeing to receive text updates during a phone consultation, where the representative explains the program before asking for consent
- Texting our published phone number first, which is treated as consent to reply
SMS consent is never a condition of receiving a solar quote, requesting a consultation, or doing business with Valley Solar Pros. You can choose to receive communication only by phone or email if you prefer.
4. Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on the stage of your inquiry. A typical active engagement involves 2 to 6 messages over the course of the assessment and proposal process. Active installations may include additional status messages spread across the project timeline. We do not send recurring marketing texts.
5. How to opt out (STOP)
You can opt out of all Valley Solar Pros SMS communications at any time by replying with any of the following keywords to any message: STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT.
After you send a STOP request, we will send one final confirmation message acknowledging the opt-out. No further messages will be sent to your number unless you re-subscribe by explicitly opting in again through the form, in writing, or on a recorded call.
6. How to get help (HELP)
For assistance, reply HELP to any message and you will receive an automated reply with our contact information and a brief summary of the program. You can also contact us directly:

7. Message and data rates
Standard message and data rates may apply to messages you send to us and receive from us, based on your mobile plan and carrier. Valley Solar Pros does not charge for SMS messages. Check with your carrier (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, US Cellular, or a regional carrier) if you are unsure about your messaging plan.
8. Supported carriers
The Valley Solar Pros SMS program is supported on major US carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless, Metro by T-Mobile, US Cellular, Virgin Mobile, and Google Fi, as well as most prepaid and MVNO carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
9. Privacy and data sharing
We do not share, sell, or rent your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in information with any third party for marketing purposes. This includes affiliates, lead aggregators, and unrelated solar companies.
Mobile information collected through SMS opt-in is used only for the messaging purposes you consented to. We work with carrier-compliant SMS delivery infrastructure (such as Twilio operating through GoHighLevel) for message delivery only. Those providers process messages on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and do not use your information for marketing.
If you choose to proceed with a solar proposal, your name, address, and email may be shared with a licensed installer or financing partner so they can prepare your proposal. Your mobile number and SMS opt-in status are not shared as part of this process unless you separately authorize the installer to text you.
For full details on how we handle personal information, review our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
Carriers and infrastructure providers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of any SMS message is subject to effective transmission from your carrier network. Service availability may vary based on your carrier and signal strength.
By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder of the mobile number provided or have authorization from the account holder to opt in.
11. Changes to these SMS terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time as carrier rules, applicable law, or our program structure changes. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. If we make material changes, we will announce the change here and (if you remain opted in) by SMS notice.
12. Governing law
These SMS Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and are subject to the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CTIA Short Code and 10DLC Messaging Principles, and any applicable carrier compliance rules.
